Limits
Known Limitations of Bold BI by Edition
Bold BI is sold as Cloud Edition, On-Premises Edition, and Managed Private Cloud, and a few limits depend on the edition.
- Cloud Edition does not support SSO (OAuth/SAML) or multi-tenancy. Multi-tenancy is available on Managed Private Cloud and On-Premises, and SSO on self-hosted deployments.
- There is no direct migration from Cloud Edition to a self-hosted deployment. Download dashboards from Cloud and upload them to the new environment.
- Localization is not available on Cloud Edition. It is available on-premises.
- Choosing your own AI provider is available only on-premises. Cloud Edition uses the Bold BI AI Service.
- The free Community License includes up to two support tickets a week. Paid licenses have unlimited tickets.
